Choose a Template

GameTrowel offers genre-themed templates designed to match your game's aesthetic: Horror, Cozy, Retro, Minimalist, Sci-Fi, Action, RPG, Puzzle, Narrative, Pixel Art, Simulation, and Stylized 3D.

Each template includes pre-built sections with genre-appropriate styling, colors, and typography. Pick the one that fits your game's vibe — you can switch templates at any time without losing content.

TipNot sure which template to pick? Try Minimalist — it works well for any genre and is the easiest to customize.

Customize Sections

The landing page builder gives you full control:

  • Toggle sections on or off — hero, features, screenshots, FAQ, trailer, blog, mailing list signup, and more
  • Reorder sections via drag-and-drop to control the page flow
  • Edit content inline for each section — text, images, links, colors
  • Live preview — see your changes on a subdomain preview as you work

Publish Your Page

Set your subdomain (e.g., mygame.gametrowel.com) and click Publish. Your page goes live instantly and is fully responsive on all devices.

Custom Domains (Pro+)

Connect your own domain for a professional look:

  1. Enter your domain in the Custom Domain panel
  2. Add a CNAME record pointing to custom.gametrowel.com
  3. Wait for DNS verification — the platform checks automatically
  4. SSL is provisioned via Let's Encrypt once DNS is confirmed
NoteDNS propagation can take up to 48 hours, but usually completes within 10–30 minutes.

AI Page Generation (Starter+)

Click "Generate with AI" to have an entire landing page built from your game's description, genre, and uploaded media. You can accept the result, regenerate individual sections, or manually edit anything.

Lifecycle Modes

Switch between Pre-Announcement, Announced, Launch, and Post-Launch modes. Each mode adjusts the default section visibility — for example, Launch mode highlights store links and the trailer, while Pre-Announcement focuses on the mailing list signup.
