How It Works
GameTrowel continuously monitors multiple platforms for mentions of your game. When coverage is detected, it appears in your Monitoring dashboard with source details, reach estimates, and sentiment analysis.

- Twitch — live streams and VODs with your game listed
- TikTok — posts tagged with your game or related hashtags
- Reddit — posts and comments in gaming subreddits
- Twitter/X — tweets mentioning your game
- Press & Blogs — articles from gaming outlets detected via web crawling
NoteMonitoring coverage depends on your tier. Free plans receive weekly scans, while Pro and Studio plans get near-real-time detection.
Coverage Details
Each detected item includes:
- Source URL — direct link to the content
- Author — name, channel, or outlet
- Estimated reach — subscriber/follower count or site traffic
- Sentiment — positive, neutral, or negative (AI-assessed)
- Detected at — when GameTrowel found the mention
Highlighting & Filtering
- Highlight standout coverage to feature in reports or share with your team
- Filter by platform, sentiment, date range, or reach
- Attribute coverage to outreach campaigns — if you emailed a creator and they published a video, the connection is tracked
Notifications
Get notified when new coverage is detected. Configure notification preferences in your account settings — email digest or individual alerts.
